Worldwide there are millions of people who are in one way or another involved with small scale local humanitarian aid. All these people are still working autonomously without the structure of NGO's etc, ... behind them. A lot of these initiatives aren't registered yet in an official circuit.

Humane Connection wants to emphasize the importance of networks in development and humanitarian aid. The goal of the Look4Humanity community is the creation of an online worldwide community platform for small scale development projects all over the world.

The goal of Humane Connection is to make the processes of development and humanitarian aid accessible to the public, in other words, build a free community of a worldwide humanitarian social network, namely look4humanity.org.

On the Look4Humanity site local autonomous organizations from developing countries as well as Western individuals, associations and firms have a mutual communication platform, which is obliging and supportive.

The Five Main Goals of look4humanity

• Introduce autonomous development and humanitarian aid projects to the world: by registering they can make their own web site with professional, user-friendly tools.
• Guarantee open traffic of ideas, experience and expertise of the different humanitarian organizations: worldwide sharing of knowledge and collaboration between all the organizations.
• Offer empowerment within the community: Offer small-scale projects the possibility to grow so they can become an important stepping stone for the development of their own region (financial, material, know how, networking, etc).
• Make development and humanitarian aid collaboration accessible to the public.
• Raise awareness, mediate and offer support.

In the first phase Ice Technologies tests all technical development of this website. In a first period they give priority to a Dutch version. Meanwhile all efforts go to the development of conceptual applications of this website based on information and community in different languages. At this moment Humane Connection tries to find the financial investment to realize 100% of look4humanity's capacity.
